HUMANITY ACTION NETWORK (HANET) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization that was founded in 2018 by a group of concerned local Somalis touched by the plight of people in Somalia to respond to numerous humanitarian challenges facing communities in the country.
The philosophy of HANET Organization is a humanist and community centered philosophy of development. It was founded on a set of beliefs about the basic problems of African communities and their inherit power to solve those problems.

We want to see a just, fair and sustainable Africa, in which everybody enjoys the right to a life of dignity, and freedom from poverty and oppression.
HANET Vision
To save lives, reduce poverty and mitigate suffering of marginalized Somali communities and further restore hope by providing relief and development based humanitarian services
HANET Mission
To alleviate suffering amongst vulnerable communities in Somalia and North Eastern part of Kenya and enhance protection, capacity, gender equity and development of communities in Somalia
HANET Objectives
- Promote quality and equal education for boys and girls
- Empower vulnerable women, girls and marginalized groups and increase their skills for development initiatives, business and decision making circles.
- Advocate for child right through abolishing child labor common in Somalia, provision of quality education program to the children of marginalized community members and creating community awareness about the child right.
- Strengthen health care service delivery and further combat HIV/AIDs
- Improve nutrition status of malnourished children and pregnant lactating women as well as the elderly
- Improve community institutions and ensure effective service delivery by public administration
